Role Summary:
The Information Security Manager will play a critical role in enabling Musoni Microfinance to oversee and control aspects on cyber security. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as the Manager,Information Security (IS) who will provide vision and strategies necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity,and availability of institution electronic information by communicating risk to Management, creating and maintaining enforceable policies and supporting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of information security strategies, both short-term and long-range, in support of the Musoni’s goals.
- Directing an ongoing, proactive risk assessment program for all new and existing systems and remains familiar with the Musoni’s goals and business processes so effective controls can be put in place for those areas presenting the greatest information security risk.
- Managing the daily operation and implementation of the IT security strategy.
- Conducting a continuous assessment of current IT security practices and systems and identifying areas for improvement.
- Running security audits and risk assessments.
- Delivering new security technology approaches and implementing next generation solutions .
- Ensuring compliance and governance is met.
- Driving change projects and building new IT capabilities.
- Developing and implementing business continuity plans to ensure service is continuous when a change program is introduced, or a security breach occurs or in the event that the disaster recovery plan needs to be triggered.
- Always Protecting the intellectual property of the organization.
- Devising strategies and implementing IT solutions to minimize the risk of cyber-attacks.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and delivering data information.
- Communicating digital programs and strategy to a range of stakeholders.
- Creating and implementing a strategy for the deployment of information security technologies.
- Performing IT security risk assessments and reporting on ways to minimize threats.
- Tracking latest IT security innovations and keeping abreast of latest cyber security technologies.
- Ensuring business continuity.
- Communicating with key stakeholders about IT security threats.
- Implementing an effective process for the reporting of security incidents.
- Overseeing the investigation of reported security breaches.
- Complying with the latest regulations and compliance requirements.
- Championing and educating the organization about the latest security strategies and technologies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- University degree in computer science or a qualification in a related subject. Professional certification (CISA,CISM, CISSP, etc.) is preferred.
Competencies and Personal Attributes:
- A minimum of five years of experience in related positions.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as Data Protection Act.
- An understanding of operating system internals and network protocols.
- Experience in system technology security testing (vulnerability scanning and penetration testing).
- Familiarity in application technology security testing (white box, black box and code review).
- Working knowledge of Security Architecture and potential security issues related to them PaaS, IaaS, SaaS and understanding of IAM, and Data Loss Prevention in a Microsoft Office 365 environment.
- Expertise working in Financial Services industry.
- Digital leadership skills – capable to meet business and IT security goals.
- People management skills – providing direction, monitoring performance, motivating staff and building a positive working environment.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest thinking and new security technologies.
- A passion for technology and security safeguarding with a desire to deliver.
- Analytical mind capable of managing numerous information sources and providing data analysis reports to senior management.
- Excellent communication skills – providing verbal and written communication that is outstanding to both direct reports and senior management as well as other stakeholders.
- Creative thinking – able to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to problem solve.

Role Summary:
We are looking for suitable and qualified individuals to fill the positions of a Branch Manager in our various branches. Reporting to the Business Development Manager and the Chief Business Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Steer the Branch into high level performance standards through proper supervision of staff and maintenance of a healthy loan portfolio.
- Provide leadership to the day to day operations of the branch, achievement of branch targets, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
- Stimulate branch growth through marketing of Musoni’s products and recruitment of new clients.
- Develop new strategies for customer retention activities.
- Respond to customer queries and address service complaints in a timely manner.
- Analyze customer feedbacks and develop new techniques to ensure customer retention.
- Visit both individual and group clients on a regular basis to address any concerns.
- Delinquency management in view of maintaining portfolio quality at acceptable levels.
- Take charge of the office general administrative duties.
- Ensure 100% adherence to the policies and procedures.
- Ensure high levels of efficiencies in line with Musoni cashless, paperless and data driven business model.
- Maintain and develop lasting relationship with staff, clients and external partners.
- Motivate, inspire, coach and develop branch staff to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Ensure high staff productivity levels and retention.
- Enforce system controls.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The incumbent must be Holder of Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent from a recognized university..
- Minimum of 3 years Branch Management experience in a Microfinance Institution.
- Computer literacy and proficiency.

- Strong interpersonal, management and demonstrable leadership skills.
- Analytical thinker who can recognize trends and opportunities.

Role Summary:
We are looking for suitable and qualified individuals to fill the position of Wealth Creation Officer in our various Branches. Reporting to the Branch Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently grow the company's product portfolio by marketing to groups and individuals.
- Develop plans for growth of the product and identify suitable clients.
- Conduct client education on the new products features and requirements.
- Conduct loan appraisals and make recommendations to the branch credit committee.
- Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas.
- Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
- Visit client business premises from time to time during loan assessment and monitoring to ensure the quality of the loan is maintained at the expected level.
- Analyse loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans.
- Analyse applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
- Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy..
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Ensure that clients pay their loans on time.
- Always adhere to the credit and lending policy and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in business related discipline from a recognized college.
- A business-related degree will be an added advantage.
- At least one year of relevant experience in Microfinance.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with numbers, conduct analysis of information.
- Ability and willingness to follow up clients personally and with a keen eye on both financial data.
