Role Summary:
We are looking for suitable and qualified individuals to fill the positions of a Branch Manager in our various branches. Reporting to the Business Development Manager and the Chief Business Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Steer the Branch into high level performance standards through proper supervision of staff and maintenance of a healthy loan portfolio.
- Provide leadership to the day to day operations of the branch, achievement of branch targets, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
- Stimulate branch growth through marketing of Musoni’s products and recruitment of new clients.
- Develop new strategies for customer retention activities.
- Respond to customer queries and address service complaints in a timely manner.
- Analyze customer feedbacks and develop new techniques to ensure customer retention.
- Visit both individual and group clients on a regular basis to address any concerns.
- Delinquency management in view of maintaining portfolio quality at acceptable levels.
- Take charge of the office general administrative duties.
- Ensure 100% adherence to the policies and procedures.
- Ensure high levels of efficiencies in line with Musoni cashless, paperless and data driven business model.
- Maintain and develop lasting relationship with staff, clients and external partners.
- Motivate, inspire, coach and develop branch staff to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Ensure high staff productivity levels and retention.
- Enforce system controls.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The incumbent must be Holder of Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent from a recognized university..
- Minimum of 3 years Branch Management experience in a Microfinance Institution.
- Computer literacy and proficiency.

- Strong interpersonal, management and demonstrable leadership skills.
- Analytical thinker who can recognize trends and opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills with people at all levels and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams to achieve goals through teamwork.
