Founded in 2009, Musoni started as a traditional microfinance institution. However, we quickly recognized the potential of technology to transform the sector and improve the lives of our clients. In 2010, we became the first microfinance institution in Kenya to go cashless, and we have continued to innovate ever since.

His expertise lies in providing strategic legal advice and solutions to clients, ranging from individuals to corporations, navigating complex legal landscapes with precision and efficiency. He brings a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of these specialized areas, coupled with a commitment to achieving optimal outcomes for clients.
He is a creative and strategic thinker from both a product and commercial perspective; experienced in building startups in the African scene. Through Mesozi, he supports and invests in Africa’s next generation of high growth technology startups and entrepreneurs.
As an avid adventure seeker, Tesh also co-founded Cloud9xp, which helps travellers to easily discover and book the best leisure experiences, at the best price, across Africa. They exited to HotelOnline in 2020.
Prior to co-founding Mesozi, Tesh was the Founder and Creative Director of a graphic, web and digital design agency, Tesh Technologies Limited(TeshTeq), a venture he started at the age of 18.

I am extremely meticulous with an eye for detail and positive outlook in often complex financial landscapes. Outstanding leadership and demonstrated a track record of improving the financial performance of the organization, optimize productivity, operations and internal control. I previously managed to exceed cost savings target of 15% to deliver 28% in the FY2017 through a cost-cutting initiative across the organization as one of my key achievements.
In my current role, I have been pivotal in overseeing and assisting in project development, formulation and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to finance management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll. Commanded good analytical skills, people skills, organizational skills as the role entails leading multiple groups in a fast-paced business environment.
Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Flywheel Advisory, Dr. Njiraini oversees support functions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. He also leads the Flywheel Academy as Faculty Lead, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational content. His leadership extends to managing all operational aspects of Flywheel Advisory and Flywheel Academy, ensuring that the organization meets its strategic goals.
Before joining Flywheel Advisory, Dr. Njiraini was the Head of Research and Commercialization at Endless Africa Limited, where he led initiatives that significantly increased productivity across various agricultural value chains. His strategic oversight in partnerships, land mobilization, and regulatory approvals contributed to large-scale successes in the rice, dairy, and livestock sectors.
Dr. Njiraini’s banking career includes significant roles at Gulf African Bank and Bank of Africa Kenya Ltd, where he held positions in trade finance and correspondent banking. His work in these roles was marked by substantial growth in trade finance books, cost-saving measures, and the establishment of robust client and institutional relationships. He has a proven track record of structuring profitable trade finance transactions and managing correspondent banking relationships.
Dr. Njiraini holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from United States International University-Africa, with a thesis focusing on the influence of transformational leadership on job satisfaction in Kenyan commercial banks. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business Administration from United States International University-Africa. Additionally, he is certified in Risk Management by the Institute of Risk Management (UK).
His insights have been published in various academic journals and popular media, including Business Daily Africa, where he recently discussed strategies for Kenya to exit the Grey List. Dr. Njiraini’s research interests include leadership, agribusiness, and risk management, and his work continues to influence both academic and commercial sectors in Kenya and beyond.
